2022
Sampson Adedeji Manager of Nigeria's Super Falcons Randy Waldrum has insisted that they must get total 100% victory in Lagos before thinking about what might likely happen in Accra, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The 9-time African champion will face Black Queens of Ghana in the first leg of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations qualifier. The falcons commence their first training yesterday while their counterparts "Black Queens" also breezed into the country yesterday afternoon. Waldrum in his reaction towards the upcoming game, stated that the home win is vital before switching attention to the away fixture. “It is important for us to get a good win at home and then go to Accra and play like warriors. These are two battles that we must be ready for. The Super Falcons just have to be at the AWCON and the World Cup and they are ready to give these two matches their all," he said. The game is billed for Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on Wednesday while the return leg will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium this weekend.
